Embroidered Longsleeve shirt "A Body Without Fatigue"

EarthPositive shirt 100% Organic Cotton, CO2 Neutral
Designed and embroidered in Berlin, Germany

The embroidered long sleeve A BODY WITHOUT FATIGUE is a project in collaboration between designer @tanjabombach and typographer @laulrcnc_ . All the shirts are embroidered and then worked with additional sewing for creating a unique design to each piece.

The concept is developed by @simone.antonioni, that researched through history literature the connection between the body, work and technological innovation.

Since the invention of Newcomen’s atmospheric engine in 1712 the human entered an ever increasing process of overworking their body in order to keep up with
the huge improvement in transmitting power and then information by machines. If before 1712 people could act upon earth and modify the territory
with limited capacity, the invention of the atmospheric engine will then allow the industrial revolution and the era that some scientists define as “The Anthropocene”

During the period 19th century until late 20th century there was a large, increasing need of people operating machines, and a fast and unprecedented accumulation
of private capital and resources. If from one side the company owners had to fulfill the duty of providing a salary to the workers on the other hand the disposal of
capital towards technological development will create an increasing devaluation of labor and then the need of the worker to specialize, be flexible and tireless in finding their own means for survival.

A BODY WITHOUT FATIGUE shirt is an homage to those that abstracts and challenge the boring/fearful presence of the untiring, unemotional and (almost) self reliant network of machines.
